Blunt Metro Umbrella - Kelly Thomson Limited Edition
BLUNT METRO Collapsible Umbrella Ltd. Ed. 'Blush Shroom n Bloom' by Kelly Thompson
The latest Limited Edition Blunt umbrella is a collaboration between Blunt and the talented Melbourne based artist Kelly Thompson.
For this lavish design, Kelly Thompson is drawing inspiration from Melbourne's farmers' markets. The hand-sketched 'Blush Shroom n Bloom' decor carefully details beautiful wildflowers and whimsical mushrooms in her iconic illustrative style.
The advanced umbrella construction is identical to the Blunt Metro umbrella with the bespoke fascinating aerodynamic shape, which means business when it comes to rain and storms. This little collapsible pocket umbrella withstands winds up to 120 km/h without bending! The Blunt is an umbrella to last, and this quality becomes rare these days. Due to a unique design feature, the radial tensioning system (RTS), Blunt umbrellas are unique as they have no sharp edges. The RTS redirects, transfers and distributes the effort used in opening the umbrella throughout the entire canopy surface. The high tension creates a stable, aerodynamic umbrella canopy, similar to a tensile roof, without sharp edge points. The 2-stage model is the most robust collapsible umbrella in the world! Nevertheless, the foldable umbrella is light and small enough to be carried around in a handbag, backpack or briefcase. The innovative concept has already proven itself for many customers in everyday life and leisure activities.
